Network Folders

In addition to cloud file storage options like Google Drive, designated space on campus file servers is available for faculty and staff use.

Faculty Network Folders

    • U: For individual HSU account holder files (including Linux home folders)
    • T: For files that students can view but not change
    • G: Files that faculty can use to collaborate with groups or classes
    • Y: A dedicated space for sharing large data sets.

Mac users: To access your network drives, open the Self-service application and click the Self-Service app “Drive Mount - Create Aliases for my network drives”

Staff Network Folders

    • U: For individual HSU account holder files
    • Other server shares may be available for your department. Contact User Support Services for more information or the HSU Help Desk at X4357 - test
