Anyone attempting to connect to vlab.humboldt.edu
Affected in what way: 
When starting a session it never gets past the "Configuring remote connection" screen.
Workaround: 
If you are on campus, use one of the computers in an open computer lab.
What happened: 
Update: VLABS is working again We are investigating.
