eduroam [1] (educational roaming) is Humboldt's official wireless network for students, staff and faculty, replacing the older and less secure HumboldtWireless. It's a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community that allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to access the internet across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop or other mobile device. Visitors to campus who do not have an eduroam account can connect to the internet via the HumboldtConnect guest network [2].
