All new faculty, staff, and students must complete the Account Activation Checklist before they can access email and other computer accounts. Here’s how:

If we have your cell phone number on file, we can reset your password or retrieve your Humboldt User Name in a matter of seconds by sending you a text message. So it's important that we have an up-to-date cell phone number on file for you.
If your cell phone number is not already stored in PeopleSoft, or if you need to check whether the number listed is up to date, go directly to your Personal Information record [3](you may need to log in first). Click the Add a Phone Number button, select Mobile Number from the drop-down menu, enter your current cellphone number, and click Save.
Also, if you haven't provided us with an emergency text number, please take this opportunity to enter this as well, so we know how to contact you in the event of an on-campus emergency.
