Zoom [1] is HSU’s web conferencing system, available for both staff and instructional use. There are three primary ways to use Zoom in the classroom:

  • Integrate Zoom into Canvas courses [2]. These instructions are for use by faculty only; Zoom must be already activated in a Canvas course for students to see and access it.
  • Interactive Zoom class sessions can be set up in Gist Hall 225. Contact Media Production Services [3] at x3169 for scheduling and support.
  • Zoom kits for use in the classroom, including a camera and integrated microphones on an adjustable stand, can be checked out from Technology Equipment Checkout [4]. Call x4200 to reserve a kit.
