Software for Office Use

The Humboldt Software Center (Windows) and Self Service (Macintosh) are available to faculty and staff to install commonly-used software packages to office computers - for example:

  • Windows: Adobe Acrobat DC, Microsoft Office, TreeSize Professional
  • Macintosh: Adobe Acrobat DC, SnagIt, Camtasia Studio

Each application is ready to install - just follow the instructions below to see the full list of what software is available for download to your office computer.

More information on the installation and use of some of the applications (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud) can be found at


  • Click on Start Menu
  • Type Software Center
  • Click on the Software Center Icon


  • In the menu bar, click on the Go drop-down menu
  • Select Applications
  • Open the Self Service application

Note that these downloads are for office use only; lab software and software for home use are managed differently.
