Jamf Protect has been installed on Macintosh systems that are currently online and ESET Antivirus has been uninstalled. As for systems that are currently offline, the Jamf Protect install policy will continue to be available for installation when they check in to the Jamf Pro Management system.

Our new Mac security product, Jamf Protect will be rolling out to all Humboldt-Owned Macs on February 12, 2021 starting at 12 AM. The existing security product ESET Antivirus for Macs will be uninstalled at that time. If you would like to become an early adopter of Jamf Protect, you may install it via the Self Service app (in the Featured section).

Our complimentary ESET Antivirus for Macintosh license has expired. Don’t worry about this expiration as this product will continue to work with the existing definitions. We are in the process of rolling out a new protection product from Jamf. Look for additional information and the opportunity to pilot this new product in the next few weeks.
