Software for Office Use

Staff and Faculty may use Self Service on macOS or Software Center on Windows to install additional software. Software availability may depend on licensing or group membership, contact ITS for further information or if you have problems finding an application. 

Directions for Windows Computers

  • Click on the Start Button (at the lower toolbar of your monitor)
  • Type “Software Center” 
  • Click on the Software Center Icon

Directions for macOS Computers

  • Click Self Service on your dock (represented by the Humboldt icon)
  • Alternatively, press Command+Space and type "Self Service" to find the app

If you can’t find the software you want, please submit a Help Desk Ticket with the software title, its purpose, and where you’d like it to be installed.
