   Call routing configuration optimizations have been put in place to fix the outbound calling issues. An issue still exists on one of two AT&T call circuits but this is no longer affecting service. When AT&T fixes the issue our systems will regain call route redundancy. Currently inbound and outbound calling is fully functional and is expected to remain that way.

   Phone system upgrades have been completed but there are ongoing issues with outbound calling from campus. Inbound calls, calls within the campus system, and 911 calls from campus are working fine. However, most outbound calls from campus are not completing and we have determined there is an issue with an AT&T device not responding to outbound call requests. We have engaged AT&T support to investigate the issue and we also have our phone system support vendor involved. No estimated time of resolution at this point.

   Telecom and Network Services will be upgrading the software that operates the campus phone systems. Multiple phone system outages of up to 10 minutes each are expected during the maintenance window.
